Leaning On Family For Support: Sallye Pence’s Story
Our latest story features Sallye Pence and her mother, Jerry. Sallye has been suffering from bone loss that spread across her fingers and affected multiple bones throughout her body. Her illness has limited her mobility in the past and she’s undergone procedures to have her fingers reshaped. To make matters worse, she has received many inconclusive diagnoses over the years on her condition.
Through it all, Jerry has provided unwavering support throughout her illness. Sallye’s hard work to not let her illness affect her life and philosophy of accepting what you’ve been given can provide comfort to anyone dealing with a chronic condition. We hope you can find inspiration in her outlook on health and life.
